Screenwriter and producer based in Berlin. I bring a rich and varied background to Berlinkus Production. Originally from Odessa, Ukraine, I received my first degree in Business Administration from Plekhanov University in Moscow. Throughout my career, I've gained valuable experience in healthcare business administration and project and marketing management with international companies. I've worked across various media platforms, including social networks, YouTube, television, magazines and film productions.
Coming from a family of journalists, I've always been fascinated by the power of stories. In 2014, my world was turned upside down when I discovered Robert McKee's book 'Story'. Since then, storytelling has become my passion. In 2021, I graduated from SAE Institute Berlin with a degree in Digital Filmmaking, and I continue to deepen my expertise in storytelling by writing my own stories, offering script doctoring services, and leading classes and seminars.

Veronika Pokoptceva, co-founder.
Film director and producer based in Berlin. Graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television in 2013 with a degree in television directing. Worked for several years in various independent television studios, including as a journalist, director and editor. After moving to Germany, I enrolled in the Digital Film Production programme at the SAE Institute Berlin (bachelor degree in cooperation with Middlesex University London) to deepen my film production skills and get to know the German film industry.
My debut film "Gib mir deine Wärme" was selected for several festivals around the world and successfully screened as part of the Kino Berlino project. As a director and producer I have made a number of music videos for young and talented musicians in Berlin. Together with the Staatsballett Berlin, Mercedes Benz and Shanghai.Berlin we created a promo video for a joint event with Berlin ballet stars. I am currently working on my next creative project - a documentary about Elisa Carrillo Cabrera, the prima ballerina of the Staatsballett Berlin.
My passion is to turn boring reality into exciting stories. I don't limit myself to a certain format or style, every story and every character deserves its own portrayal. Both in life and in my films, I always try to look at things from a philosophical and slightly existential point of view.
